There is another way to make Internet Explorer your primary browser, go to Internet Explorer's folder and you should see a folder that says "Microsoft Internet Self-Repair", inside that you will see a program that says "Microsoft Internet First Run" Click on that and answer the pop-up boxes and then Explorer should be your primary browser. IMPORTANT NOTE: Before doing this if you have any saved pages in your Favorite web addresses, make a copy of this to a text file first. If this is the first time you will be using Internet Explorer, then disregard this part. It may not make any difference to your web address by using First Run, but better safe then sorry.

I intend to the Internet explorer soon, but I still have a question. First I
went to the find file and asked for Apple Internet Preferences--got 0. Then I
went to the preferences in the system folder, then Internet Preferences, but I
did not see a "choice of browsers item." Just boxes that said, Personal,
E-mail, News, WWW, File Transfer, etc. I need a lot of coaching and learning.
