Did you try looking in your extensions folder and see if your CD toolkit extension is there? Make sure it did not somehow get put in the extensions disabled folder. You might check and see also if there was a driver for your CD rom, if so, Norton may have moved some things around if it had a problem and you clicked on the "fix it" button. You might also go into your control panel and click on your CD toolkit app. and see if it is working properly. When you've exhausted any possible hardware and software issues, then replacing it might be your only choice, it seems too much of a chance though that you ran Norton and not long after it did not work.
Good luck with it
Diane
Just last week it was working, as I used it to run Norton as I was diagnosing a HD problem. Then, a day or so later, none of the CD's I try will mount. The drive has power as the tray will eject and retract, but nothing mounts, and it doesn't show up in Apple Profiler.
Anything I should try before buying another CD?
