I like to use Spin Doctor from Toast 5 to clean up the hisses and pops
from my old LPs before I burn them to cd. It worked fine on my old C600 with
OS 8.6. Now I've switched my Audiomedia III card to my S900 and am trying to
burn some vinyl to cd. I'm running a G4/450 with about 900 megs of ram. I tried
to use Spin doctor with my OS 9.1 drive, and it caused distortion in the
sound. I thought maybe it would work better with OS 8.6, so I installed that on
one of the other partitions. I also installed Toast on that same partition.
It didn't help. Still distortions. I used to have this problem if I had
virtual memory on while using this program. Virtual memory is off, as it should
be. It doesn't work with it on either.
I really need to get some of these albums onto cd. Hope one of you
knowledgeable people can get me going.

thanks
Mike
