I would like to move my G4 S900 from 9.1 to OSX 10.3 - I've read through the XPostFacto info and other accounts and there are two problem areas that I'm not sure I'll be effected by - any feedback would be most welcome:
1) Recognizing a non-apple CD-ROM. I have Toshiba and Matsushita CD drives on the internal SCSI Bus 0 - will they be recognized and will I be able to boot from them or will I need an Apple CD drive as some accounts attest? (I currently use Intech Speedtools.) 2) Will I have any problems with my HDDs which are both UltraWide SCSI running off of a Umax E100 card and not off the internal SCSI? -- SuperMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
