I shall try to play with different extension sets again and see what comes up, but if there are conflicts, TechTool Pro 3 should have noticed them anyway. I fear it might be a hardware issue, after all my C500 started it demise in the same way. > The Matrox card that came with theC600 is not a Millennium II card. This Matrox card was not originally supplied with the C600, and is indeed a Millennium II, the rather rare version with 8MB on-board VRAM (chips on both sides of the board), and had been proven to be completely reliable running the final release of the Matrox drivers with OS8.6 in that 6360. Very odd; too bad suitable ATI PCI cards with a little more punch are so rare on these shores! Thanks for your thoughts, I'll see if I can swap out the ATI card in my main working G3 Gossamer, if things still get out of hand.
