[SM] OS X Mail 1.2.5

I have two mail accounts feeding my OSX mail software.  One is a POP 
account and the other is my hotmail account.  Everything was working 
fine until this morning.  My POP account was downloading mail.  It says 
that I have new messages in this account.  The problem is that I can't 
see them.  I can see the hotmail messages fine.  Has anyone had this 
problem with Mail?
