[SM] C500, 9.2.1, and SCSI CD-Rom?

Just curious if anyone has successfully upgraded a C500 to 9.2.1 and 
still had the stock CD-Rom drive working. I lose mine when I do this. 
(BTW, I'm using the Os 9 helper courtesy of os9forever.com).
