Hi Elliot,

I have some ideas but they involve lengthy steps. So instead of going into
that right off, I wanted to make sure you performed one simple but often
forgotten step after formatting a drive.

Did you remember to Bless the System?

In case you don't know (ore recall) what that is, it's easy. Simply boot up
from the other good drive, once all is running drag the System File (not
Folder) from the newly formatted drive to the desktop, let go of it & click
on the desktop, then grab the System File again and put it back in its
original System Folder. Then select the reinitialized drive again as the
Start Up Drive and restart. See if that works.
