Hi Dave,

I tried blessing the system but the EIDE drive still does not mount.

Did you remember to Bless the System?

Simply boot up from the other good drive, once all is running drag the
System File (not
Folder) from the newly formatted drive to the desktop, let go of it & click
on the desktop, then grab the System File again and put it back in its
original System Folder.
