I have three S900 systems and one J700 system that I no longer use, and that I am planning to get rid of in the next several weeks.
These systems are not 100% complete, and they have had various parts swapped in and out over the years. There are 4 complete chassies with motherboards and power supplies. However, one chassis is missing a front bezel and a side door. I believe there are enough parts for three fairly complete (as originally shipped) working systems. Additionally, I have some other spare parts such as extra PPC604 CPU modules, one G3 CPU module, and SCSI CD-ROM drives.
These systems are available free to anyone willing to pick them up in the San Francisco Bay Area. If there are no local takers, I'm willing to ship these given that the recipient cover shipping costs. I'd prefer not to break up the set, but I'll do what I can within reason to accomodate interested parties.
These systems/parts are probably most useful to someone who needs to maintain/replace existing S900/J700 systems, or for someone who wants to put together a "beater" system for hacking around with Linux, BSD, MacOS X, etc. I don't recommend picking these up if you're just looking for a cheap, ready-to-go used MacOS system for normal use.
This is the first offer for this stuff that I've posted, in the hopes that someone on this list will find it useful. If I don't get any offers, I'll try some more general Mac lists in a week or two before I take it to a local computer donation center.
