Dave, I did what you suggested below concerning updating the driver and the drive mounted. Thank you so much for your helpful advice. I'm grateful to have things running again.
Paul, I was using FWB software w/ the IDE drive as a last resort and I don't believe it is the current version. Thanks, guys, for your replies. Elliot snip...
