Hi Kim, I've just reread the string of posts on this problem. The thing you must remember is that when a OS is installed on a computer the software installer scans the computer to see whats there, then instals the needed options. Therefore, an older OS instal done on a drive before you added new PCI cards or accessories will not recognize the newly added items. That is why the printer and burner don't show up on the SCSI version HD. You can reinstal the SCSI drive's OS to update it as long as all the new items are plugged in when the OS is reinstalled. Does this make sense? Someone else mentioned the trackball feature of OS9.1 that needs to be selected for it to work properly. I'd still want to run a trackball via USB with a PCI USB adaptor rather than thru the slower ADB port(if I had a choice). Good luck. Paul C
