Thanks to Jeff, Nancy and all others who replied regarding my Twin Turbo video
card issue. After installing the 900 graphics accelerator extension (the card has only
a DB15 connector, so it must be an Apple OEM), I'm still getting only one
resolution option: 640X480, 67 Hz. Maybe it's the monitor. We're still using an
ancient Apple 13" primarily because my wife doesn't want to spend any real money
on our C500 system.
The Apple 13" only supports that one resolution and there are sense codes build into the cable which the DB15 connector is wired to sense and report to the card. So that's all it's going to offer.
A new monitor or flat panel isn't really putting money into an old machine. You can take a display device with you to a new computer.
