I have a new member of the Pastor Mac home network--a wonderful (almost) new S900/250! When it arrived earlier this week I was doing doing the Jason Fox Happy Dance (see the Foxtrot comic strip) with my lovely wife and children thinking dear old Dad really, really has lost it. Imagine a mid 40ish spectacled overweight white guy gyrating about, well, sorry for that disturbing image. Yes, the shades were drawn so no animals were harmed during the celebration. With profound thanks to a Supermac listmember who was most gracious in making this happen in replacing the C600, I now have a box that I can really play with.
Upon opening up the case I see there is a Twin Turbo card and an Apollo card that has a pair of serial ports and an RJ-45 and AAUI connector. That said, I cant get any Ethernet connectivity. Green light on the switch but no packets are getting passed. Ethernet is an option in the TCP/IP panel (running OS 8(!!) for the moment) and I've entered good info for the LAN behind the router. So, is there some form of driver besides the Apple Enet extension for the Apollo card?
Pax,
Pastor Mac On OS X
