I used my s900 for DSL in 9.1 using the built-in 10baseT port, configured as above through a router.
Have you tried booting up with all extensions turned on ?
Maybe there are some that are turned off ?
It is semi-retired at the moment but it can be reactivated if you want me to check for anything specific in the settings.
