[SM] Putting NetBSD on C-500?

I have a ten gig disk and it is a sonnet G3 machine so I was thinking 
about making it a server for my two quad 700s, my pb 190cs, with 
intermittent communications with my Pismo.  

Has anyone put NetBSD on their C-500 and how did it work?  How is it 
working now and are you using NetaTalk to net to other local machines?
