I had a similar situation ... my NewerTech G4/400 upgraded S900 stopped working several months after the upgrade. I tried everything (PRAM, CUDA, etc.) and almost gave up, then I decided to try it with the original 604e CPU. Miraculously, my computer came back to life, and when I put back the Maxpower G4/400, it was brought back to life.
