Robert,
I can't answer your question, but perhaps this will help. There is a free
program called, "Final Vinyl" that I recall does everything you wish to do.
This program is designed specifically to put your LPs on DVDs or CDs.
Besides the program you need an LP player and a way to take the sound from
the player into your Mac. The iMike USB works especially well. You can get
this free program from <www.griffintechnology.com>. Download the program
and the Operating manual and judge for yourself.
