Agreed, but . . .
Consider downloading Netscape 7.0 or 7.02 (allows the user to stop 'pop-up' ads) for OS 9x.
And--Netscape 7.2 is available for OS X.
Netscape 7x isn't a dog and it is free, unless you want the manual.
