I have believed that all Macs since OS 6 or 7 could read/mount to the desk top any PC formatted 1.4 MB floppy disk. My S900 with OS 9.1 and the original floppy drive will not, giving the error message: "This disk is unreadable by this computer." Who is right?
Thanks, Bernie
There is an extension you need to mount PC 1.44 disk, I think. At least there was when this ability first was bundled with the OS back in the 7.x days. Hmmm, looking around, the only think in OS 9.1 that appears relevant is the File Exchange control panel. Do you have that installed?
