Having read through the "black screen of death" aka my Umax is dead now , it seems that you may wish to contemplate the funeral at some point ? Your only $ 600 away from a Mini Mac that can run classic so you could use all your old programs.

Funny you don't even see these (S900's) on ebay any longer ? Noticed now several articles lamenting to the same effect I espoused to when the Mini first came out - Used G4 / G3 prices plummeting down. So were does that leave the good old S900 ? I suspect worth more selling the last upgrade parts that a late user may have installed .... IDE card , GX upgrade, drives ....... I often attend swap meets here in So Cal and have spotted a few Umax machines, often $ 10 ~ 15 range stripped .... A good 10 year run the Umax gave us , from OS 7.6 (?) right on up to X. How many Apple units did that ?

When I first joined the 840 AV list OS 8.6 was just out and OS 8 was still fairly modern, I gave $ 35 for my 840 AV, now the list has gone dead and she is best used as a door stop.

If I had only kept my Lisa !!!
