Sure they do.

If that doesn't work, click on the "Accelerators" tab on their home page. Then choose "Mac clones" from the list on the right and hit the "show models" page. Scroll down to your flavor of UMAX and
hit show upgrades.

I'm sorry I can't address that specifically. However, I have been using a PowerLogix G3/400 oc'c to 445 with not that first problem for about 3 years now. I am still using OS 9.1. I have plans to
upgrade later this year to upgrade my S900 to a PL 1 GHz and try OS X.

I have read on this list that no one has been able to successfully run Sonnet G4/700s and 800s
with Mac OS X on the Umax, but those upgrades do work with OS 9.

Don't forget daystartechnology.com has inexpensive upgrades too.

Hi Dave;

I sent a changed message right after I sent the first one and seems it did not go through. I did find the OWC clones listing right after I sent the first post.

two years ago it was my plan to go with PL, then they came out with G3-900 which I purchased. I had it running on a new XLR8 Ziff carrier at 1Gig momentarily and at 900 for a short time then it quit and I never got it going reliably again.

Then the Doctors got me( I bless their Hearts and Skill). So six months plus later I have big changes to make that will see me upgrading to a MINI at least. And changing locations to somewhere out of the heat.

A daystar G4 at 400 Mhz goes for $119. I think they say it can be clocked higher. But all those web pages are confusing with anti-competitor information all through their FAQ's and statements.

I will resend my other questions.

Ernie
