Never thought I'd say this but I miss this forum ... I know "get a
life" but I looked forward
to the "posts" and the topics that came up, I learned alot ... does
anyone have the "list" in
digest form that goes back to the beginning? I'd sure like to
see/read the posts prior to
my subscription, I imagine that it would have to be put on a CD/DVD
... anyone out there

Ok who would have guessed that just maybe I'd have an extensive
collection of the Supermacs list ;-)
Here's Dan Knight anouncing Digest #100 landmark post!
I became a member 10/10/98 seems list started June 1998 I have a
number of posts not in digest form that are older then digest 101.
Digests collection starts with #101 and I have nearly all of them
from that point forward. I did end up losing a bunch of 2003 & 04
years from a careless upgrade crash in OSX Jag to Panther. Looks like
I have the old ones ;-) I'm writing this using Eudora 4.3 in OS 9.1
.Long time since i used it or OS 9.x. The early years of the list the
server crashed a lot. Dan would always start the Digest over at #1
after the crash.(Drove me nuts ;-)So one has to look at the dates as
well as digest #'s He seemed to have no backup plan and no interest
in archiving anything. I made a major effort to collect the first 100
digests but no one who may have had them every shared them with me ;-)
Since the list is so slow these days what about me posting them here
in the forum? What say you? If this shows up I'll post digest #101 to
see how it goes. Will S
