Hi Bernie,

I can email you a small system start up folder that you can copy to a floppy
disk and then start your machine with that.  It has the hacked CD extension
on it and a set-startup control panel. The folder is exactly 1.3mb and will
just fit onto a floppy.

Or, you might try going to the "set startup disk" control panel on the drive
you are starting with now and select the OS 9 start-up install disk that you
put in your CD drive.  When you re-start it should use that system disk to
boot.

I think your problem is most likely very solvable.  Send me an email with
your email or snail mail address and I'll get a small start up system to
you, if you want it.
