Did you make sure the frame rate is not limited by the exposure time? Frame
period can not be lower than the exposure time, of course. In the camera web
interface you can see the color of the fps value - if it is in red color,
the frame rate is limited by the exposure. If that is the case you may
somewhat increase the camera analog gain (default is 2.0), open iris or just
add more light to the scene. You may also set the maximum autoexposure time
(default is 0.5 sec) so lower light will just make images darker but the
frame rate will not drop.
