Thanks Boys. M preference is to run on Ubuntu; again I also apologise cause I'm a Linux noob. I have tried following Secxio instructions by:
1. Purging KDevelop 4. 2. "sudo apt-get install libqt3-mt" - This worked. 3. To install Trinity (whatever it is) I followed http://www.trinitydesktop.org/installation.php instuctions for Ubuntu Ocelot to the letter, upon entering " sudo apt-get install kubuntu-default-settings-trinity kubuntu-desktop-trinity" I get the print at the bottom of this reply. 4. So I tried this command thinking I was still missing some key Trinity part."Then Install kdevelop trinity" - I tried "sudo apt-get install kdevelop-trinity" and this didn't work; Anymore recommendations? In regards to using Kubuntu Live. I tried to get the Kubuntu image to install in VMware and it won't recognise the image. Plus I heard Kubuntu support is now discounted by Canonical; so I have reluctance to learn Linux on a dropped platform.
