Hi all,

We're preparing SeaMonkey 1.1.15, our next regular security release for the SeaMonkey 1.1.x series, with the same base as Thunderbird 2.0.0.21, probably next week or the one after that.

A number of security and stability fixes went into this release, see <https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/buglist.cgi?keywords_type=anywords&keywords=fixed-seamonkey1.1.15%2Cfixed1.8.1.20%2Cverified1.8.1.20%2Cfixed1.8.1.21%2Cverified1.8.1.21&product=Core&product=MailNews+Core&product=SeaMonkey&product=Other+Applications> (note that you may not be able to see all security bugs), we need good testing of the candidate builds to avoid shipping regressions.

Those candidate builds are available at <http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/seamonkey/nightly/candidates-1.1.15/> for all platforms (Linux and Windows are already there, Mac should follow soon).

Please help us with this testing so we can have a good, secure and
stable SeaMonkey 1.1.15 release!

If you can do some smoketesting, please go to <http://litmus.mozilla.org/> and do a SeaMonkey 1.1 test run (<http://litmus.mozilla.org/run_tests.cgi?test_run_id=11>). For further questions, stop by on IRC in #seamonkey, and ask our QA head ajschult or other people around there who should know what can/should/needs to be tested.

Thanks for your help,

Robert Kaiser
