You can say to Seamonkey to delete the messages after some days, I
usually use 15 days.
Or, if you just want to get the messages from the POP server and
keep them on your local machine, just tell SM to delete the messages
on the server after downloading them.
Or use The PopTray program to remove mails from your pop-server.
