Hi everyone,
All the builds for SeaMonkey 2.0 Beta 2 themselves have been created
(updates are not there yet), so it's time for starting tests on them to
ensure we have a beta that is ready to go out to a wider range of people.
Please help us testing the Windows installers, Mag disk images and Linux
packages, all available in 17 languages including US English!
The packages are available in the win32, mac, and win32 subdirectories
of
http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/seamonkey/nightly/2.0b2-candidates/build1/
Please use the builds for any usage patterns you can think of, possibly
also doing a https://litmus.mozilla.org/run_tests.cgi?test_run_id=7
smoketest run on them. I know that Litmus run isn't perfect, but it's
the best we have right now (we are looking for someone to improve that
as well, if you're interested in helping even more with SeaMonkey QA).
Localizers, please test the builds in your locale and fix any
problems/glitches in time for 2.0 final, which should come up next month.
I hope we will get updates ready on the testing channels soon, the
process should make them available once it has generated them.
