I have four SeaMonkey profiles. I was using Thunderbird to compose a
reply to another thread in this newsgroup, and I needed information from
two those profiles.

When I switched from A to B, the window for B opened behind the
Thunderbird window. When I switched from B back to A, the window for A
opened in front of the Thunderbird window. Why do I see this
inconsistency?

By the way, this switching back and forth between profiles is why I use
Thunderbird as my newsreader rather than SeaMonkey's Mail & Newsgroups
component. With the latter, my Mail & Newsgroups session would have
closed while going from profile A to B. While in profile B, I would not
have the same newsgroup history as I had when I started composing even
if I duplicated the Mail & Newsgroups portion of profile A into B.
