Wrong. The *selected text* becomes the quoted text. It's not a bug, it's
a feature! The only bug that could possibly be there is that selecting a
word alone is not enough; from what I see the selection must at least
contain a space with characters at both sides. I don't know whether
that's on purpose or not.
