Let the old things sleep, most of the comments in there are probably highly inaccurate right now in any case.
Once we come near to really working on something like that, opening a new bug for it might be good, but for now it would be useless clutter.
Let's work on reducing the number of bogus open bugs as well as fix some real ones, and not reopen more things that don't help anything in the next year or so.
