Since upgrading to SM 2.0, using the keyboard equivalent for mark "all
read" (cmd+shift+C on the Mac) performs the function correctly, but
causes the system alert sound to play. This occurs regardless of whether
a folder is highlighted or the message header summary pane is active.
Makes no difference if there are unread messages or not.
Once the "Message/Mark/All Read" command is executed via the pulldown
menu, subsequent cmd+shift+C operations will not invoke the system alert
sound.
Quitting SM and relaunch and the same syndrome will occur.
Has anyone else seen this ?
