Hi,
I solved the problem. My PC had automatically set my e-mail preference
to Windows Office Outlook; why, I'll never know. In any event, following
some help from Picasa FAQs, I found the problem and solved it. The
strange part is that it only affected outgoing photos from Picasa, and
my text e-mails went out normally. It was thus not a SM problem.
