On a PC running XP-Home, I have tried to install SM v.2.01 so that it
can be used by multiple users but I am not doing something right.
I need to have both the PC and SM accessible by four users: myself,
wife, and two grandchildren. In XP, I have a Welcome Screen account for
each of the four of us although the two grandchildren's XP accounts are
of the 'limited' type. As I understand SM, I need to have profiles for
each of the four of us.
The problem I am experiencing is that when I install SM, it installs on
the HD but appears only in one XP account. This implies that I have to
install SM four times and take up a lot of HD space with SM files that
are identical. It seems to me that what I should end up with is four
sets of profile files, one for each user, but only a single set of SM
files. Accordingly, I am really confused on how to do the SM
installation correctly.
Advice, comments, or pointers to tutorials that cover this kind of a
problem would be most appreciated. Thanks, in advance, for any assistance.
