Well, I've been using SeaMonkey 1.1.X for years. When running the Linux version, displaying to an X Server running on a remote Windows machine across a slow network (SM running on my Linux machine at home, displaying on my Windows workstation at my office) I found a problem similar to what you describe. Sometime, I would be able to get the drag/drop operation to work if I do it quickly enough. However, if I miss the window, the application just hangs, and I have to kill it. I've never noticed this when running at home (SM running on my Linux machine, displaying remotely to the X Server running on my Windows workstation at home) - but then the network between my two home machines is 100MBit. If this is the same issue as yours, it may be timing related, in that the machine may be under heavy load at the time the problem occurs? _______________________________________________ support-seamonkey mailing list [email protected] https://lists.mozilla.org/listinfo/support-seamonkey
