Dear Lee, Thank you for your feedback. Yes, my previous SM version was 1.1.18. The automatic update tried to install 2.0.2 under Win7 and failed. Since I had no other choice, I downloaded the complete installer of 2.0.2, tried to install the programme, but it was incompatible with Win7 and did behave as described above. Therefore, I used a copy of an older complete installer, namely of the version 2.0 and installed this version under Win7. This intent was successful. SM 2.0 runs under Win7, but SM 2.0.2 did not run under Win7. Approx. 1 week after having installed SM 2.0, the automatic installer announced that a newer version of SM was about to be installed on my notebook. I tried to stop this activity, but the programme installed the update and it works more or less. Each time when I start SM, a pop- up windows appears and I have to answer the question whether I want to accept modifications of my computer by an unknown programme calles seamonkey.exe. I have to answer "yes" and afterwards the programme starts. The start is very slow, but once started, it works as well as the last version without problems (1.1.18) did work. Thank you, cheers, Claus _______________________________________________ support-seamonkey mailing list [email protected] https://lists.mozilla.org/listinfo/support-seamonkey
