i have three problems with seamonkey 2.02 german edition on windows XP.
1st E-Mail folders
I have a large inbox and on earlier versions of seamonkey it was easily
possible to change the name of the inbox file with the explorer, if
seamonkey is not running. After the new start of the programme,
seamonkey has recovered that the inbox file is missing and has generated
a new empty inbox file (new seamonkey makes this too).
The old seamonkey has displayed the renamed folder with its new
filename. New seamonkey shows two inbox folders.
At the old seamonkey, the message filters are still active for the new
empty inbox folder. At the new seamonkey, the message filter is empty.
2nd. Saving websites
When I want to save a website to the hard disc I have problems with file
browsing. When I move the scroll bar to find the right folder, the
scroll bar of the file browsing tool doesn't stop scrolling. I just want
to scroll e.g. 10 lines down, but when I release the mouse button, the
browsing tool just proceeds scrolling. I have tried this with other
programmes or other mouses. It only occurs at the new version of seamonkey.
3rd Saving german ebay sites
The german ebay site uses a special window to show large pictures of the
pieces at the auction in a kind of gallery page. With the old version of
seamonkey, it was possible to select one of the small thumbnail pictures
at the right side of the gallery page to show the large version of this
pic on the right side of the gallery page. Then one can select the right
mouse button menu to save the complete site (save picture is not
available, probably because of a java application which is responsible
for this interactive behaviour).
On the new version of seamonkey, the entries of the right mouse button
menu change, if I have clicked on another thumbnail before. In this new
context menu, only the positions copy, select all, view source-code of
selection occurs. At the old version of seamonkey, this change in the
context entries doesn't occur on the same sides. The entries back / fore
/ reload / stop / add bookmark / save site / show background graphics /
copy / select all / view source-code are always available even if I
click on another thumbnail.
Can someone help with these three problems?
