Look for "spoofing" in the archives, it's a FAQ.
Try the PrefBar extension from<http://prefbar.mozdev.org/>. Its User
Agent menulist can switch your browser's ID (user agent string, UA
string). If you forget to switch back to your real ID, it switches you
back automatically when you terminate the browser (or is it when you
restart).

In the meantime, inform the owners of the affected sites that they are
sniffing incorrectly. See
<http://wiki.mozilla.org/User:Sardisson/Gecko_is_Gecko>. Also, on your
SeaMonkey menu bar, select [Help> Report Broken Web Site] and report
those sites.
Phillip's suggestion of the UA Switcher is best if the only need is UA
spoofing. However, I agree with David, look at the Prefbar extension.
It offers so much more in addition to the UA spoof. I would not be
without it.
