Also, well, in my experience the less geeky the user, the less she wants
to worry about stuff like updates. A real hardcore geek will write an
app himself to check regularly all relevant sites to see if there are
updates, while the average luser won't even think about updates.

So, if even geeks like automagic updates, it's a sure bet that non-geeks
won't complain about them.
