I will be getting a new computer on Wednesday and would like to load the
latest version of Seamonkey on it to use for both my browsing and email.
I am currently using on my old computer 1.1.15. I have a number of mail
folders in my Inbox and many filters that I would like to have on my new
computer. Plus all my passwords, bookmarks and such.

Please direct me on which files I need to copy and where to find them on
my old computer. Plus, do I download the new version of Seamonkey on the
new computer and then add the files from my old computer? Thanks for the
help.

Create a backup of yur entire profile. (the content of the
SLT-directory, explanation follows)
You can find information about where your profile is located here:
http://seamonkey.ilias.ca/profilefaq/

On your new Computer install Seamonkey 1.1.18 and copy back your profile
data to the newly created SLT-directory while SM is closed.

If you want to go to SeaMonkey 2.0.4 you don't need to install Seamonkey 1.1.18 .... Only the 1.1.15 profile must be present at the default location before installing SeaMonkey 2.0.4.

As you're running a pretty recent version of Windows i'd recommend to
update to Seamonkey 2.0.4 first (which migrates your data to a new
SM2-profile) and copy that new profile over to your new computer (where
SM would also be used then). That leaves all old garbage behind.

Martin
