I installed Thunderbird 3.0.4 and the same thing is happening! I'm flummoxed, I am testing with news.mozilla.org and mozilla.general. Same thing, all the message details but not the message body.
I know South Africa is having connectivity problems with a undersea cable being repaired, is NNTP a protocol that could be throttled or something? Why would I get the summary info then? Clearly e-mail works.
