Sorry if this repeats previous info; but this is the first time I've
used this new Windows 7 computer (I've always used XP before) and I want
to transfer my bookmarks and address book and tool bar stuff intact from
my previous SM 2.0.4 on my XP laptop to this new Windows 7 computer.
But I can't figure out where to put the files? Is it even possible to
use the same files as before?
Yes, for bookmarks, e-mail and usenet/newsgroup copies, addressbooks, etc.
What I did was install the clean SeaMonkey v2 and check to see if it
worked. Then, exit it and copy my files over to c:\users\username\app
data\roaming\mozilla\seamonkey I think? I am not on my 64-bit W7 HP
machine). Edited its prefs.js to point to the right files (addressbooks
are tricky so make new blank ones first then edit them).
