What about people like Hartmut and myself that have no use for, or
desire for ChatZilla and want to get rid of it altogether.

Well, i don't really care about the presence of Chatzilla. It simply
sits there, i do not use it and it don't bother me. ;)

But i have just tested a way to remove Chatzilla. You can do it manually
even in SM2.1. Close SM and move the folder
seamonkey/extensions/{972ce4c6-7e08-4474-a285-3208198ce6fd} to a safe
place. After a restart of SM Chatzilla is gone.

You can get Chatzilla back the other way around. Move the saved folder
to the original place and you will have Chatzilla again.

I use to be a fan of chat when AOL Instant Messenger was part of the Package, because I could keep up with my relatives that were on AIM as well. But, everyone quite using, AIM and the other instant message applications. And I never found any of the irc of any interest.

For me its wasted hard drive space though it might only use up 100K for that component.
