Old Netscape 4 had a capability to create bookmark shortcuts. To the user, a shortcut looked like an ordinary bookmark; but it would actually be a pointer to a bookmark. Thus, you could have the same bookmark in different folders and locations within the bookmark file. If you changed the URI of the actual bookmark, that change would then be reflected in all shortcuts pointing to it. One of the "improvements" in Mozilla Suite was to eliminate bookmark shortcuts. That "improvement" still exists in SeaMonkey. I don't know if the old capability will be restored when SeaMonkey converts to using an SQLite database for bookmarks the way that Firefox now handles them. -- David E. You can access Mozdev much more quickly than you can Mozilla Add-Ons. _______________________________________________ support-seamonkey mailing list [email protected] https://lists.mozilla.org/listinfo/support-seamonkey
