If by "do chat" you mean you open the chatzilla window and can't connect, or you
click on an "IRC://" link and it doesn't work (should from browser, fails from
mail) or something else? More detail, please.
I use CZ heavily, I'm in a support room two night a week (the Prodigy ISP was
sold, the support lives on), a physics developments tak room at the same time,
and usually one or more of the fedora rooms as well. I can only say it has
always worked well for me, so perhaps you are missing something (often preferences).
