Somehow my FILE/PAGE SETUP/MARGINS& HEADER/FOOTER margin
measurements
got set to millimeters. How do I set them back to inches? "Help"
file
is of no help.
Check your printer setup to see if you're set to metric.
Nope, printer/printers are all set in inches. Checking about:config
show that margins are set to 0.5 and paper size 8.5 and 11 which I
assume must be inches.
Ok, try to print a page, look at your paper size and if it's set to A-4
for instance then your page setup will show mm's .. Also, do Print
Preview and see what type paper it's set for.
All defined printers are set for a default of 'letter' size (8½"x11") in
M$ SETTINGS/PRINTERS& FAXES/PRINTER PROPERTIES.
Print Preview and Page Setup of both browser and mail of SM 2.0.8pre do
not show a paper type, only margins, orientations, headers& footers, and
scale.
I know that you already tried about:config .. but this time try it again
and type "margin" in the filter box w/o quotes and see if there may be
something there showing in mm's instead of inches.
For defined printers:
All the _margin_top _margin_bottom _margin_left and -margin_right
integers are set at 0.5 (user set)
All the _unwritable_margin_ are set at 0 (user set)
This happened once before, On a 1.1.x release.
I don't remember what the cause was.
