Search for "feed" instead of "RSS". And just as a note: You could have

I did find this definition, which doesn't tell me how to do anything
useful:

I already know what RSS feeds are. I don't need that. I need to know how
to DO it in SM 2.0.6. There isn't the slightest inkling in either help
topic that SM can handle RSS feeds. There are no links at all to any
how-to topics.

Hmm, sorry, you're right, there's not too much new information behind that link either. I must have confused that because I just quickly checked, followed the link, and then used the search functionality (term = "feed") which gave me lots of results.

But the help file is just completely useless as far as linking from
keywords to actual help. This has happened over and over to me -- I
search on a term and get a definition, but no link to anything useful.

Granted, Help is not perfect, and like in this case, links do not always point you to what you're searching for. I guess everyone processes information differently. For me it's natural to search for any term that might bring be nearer to an answer, so in this case if I enter RSS and find "feeds" in the definition, I follow the link to "feeds", but if that doesn't give me any useful results, I also search for "feeds" and "feed" automatically.

FWIW, I think the solution here would be to add an "RSS" link that points to an actual Help topic to the index, rather than fixing the glossary which indeed seems to be self-contained (i.e. not linking back into actual Help contents). If you think this is worthwhile, please file a bug (Component = Help).

Greetings,

Jens
