I already know what RSS feeds are. I don't need that. I need to know how
to DO it in SM 2.0.6. There isn't the slightest inkling in either help
topic that SM can handle RSS feeds. There are no links at all to any
how-to topics.
1. Find a web page with a link (usually that little orange-and-white
dots-and-two-lines thingy) to an RSS feed.
2. CLICK ON IT.
Really, that's it. -JW
Did that, it yanked me away from this NG and showed me a list of stories
from the feed. Inconvenient, but it works. Thanks.
Here's a sample:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/
click the RSS Icon & it takes you here:
http://feeds.bbci.co.uk/news/rss.xml
Right about there you want to right click, 'copy link location', go to the RSS
feed you created from the new pulldown and 'subscribe' (rt click again). I went
to 2.0 as soon as RSS was added, I follow a ton of feeds, and using filters and
custom views I can tailor what I see to the time I can invest in reading.
