I have been seeing some crashes as well and I've tried to keep Flash current.
It has the feel of a memory leak as it tends to occur when I have several sites open - more than one with streaming video and other active resources - and go to close a video page and jump into something else. Sometimes the crash reporting works and sometimes it says that is was unable to report the crash - I have no idea why.
